Back-to-School Advice: Why Your Kid's Shoes Are a Smart Investment
Quick Tip Tuesday: Purchase with Purpose

The back-to-school season is officially here, and with it comes a flood of new lists, new schedules, and yes, a lot of new purchases. While you're likely being inundated with advice on everything from backpacks to lunchboxes, I'm here to add one more thing to your radar: your kids' shoes.
I know, it might seem like a small detail in the grand scheme of things, but hear me out. My philosophy for making smart purchases revolves around three key criteria. When a product meets any one of these, you should invest in the absolute best quality you can afford:
It protects you from the elements.
You use it every day.
It keeps you safe.
This principle applies to some of the biggest investments you'll ever make, like the roof over your house or the car you drive. It's also true for the mattress you sleep on every night. But it's just as relevant for the things your kids rely on daily, and that brings me back to shoes.
Think about it. A good pair of shoes protects their feet from the elements, they wear them almost every single day, and they keep them safe, providing proper support and stability as they run, jump, and play.
A high-quality shoe offers better support, lasts longer, and can prevent a host of foot-related issues down the road. While it might be tempting to save money on a cheaper pair that they'll "just grow out of," a well-made shoe is an investment in their comfort, health, and safety throughout the school year.
So, as you check off that back-to-school list, make their shoes a top priority. It’s a purchase that's truly worth it. More importantly this philosophy will serve you well on your decision making journeys .
