Feeling the Love: My February Favorites for a Heart-Filled Home
Special Occasions
February is the month of love & friendship, and I've been embracing the spirit of the season by adding little touches of warmth and joy to my home and routines. I wanted to share some of my favorite products and processes that have brought a little extra love into my February.
Fresh Towels, Fresh Start: One of the simplest ways to refresh your space is by swapping out your kitchen towels. It's amazing how this small change can breathe new life into the heart of your home and usher in a new season. I follow suit by updating the bathroom towels and decor, creating a cohesive and inviting atmosphere.
Scent-sational: Scent plays a huge role in setting the mood. I love changing up my candles and Pura room diffuser scents to match the season. A subtle shift in fragrance can make a world of difference. Though, my dinner table candles are always unscented as to not compete with the delicious aroma of the food.
Seasonal Style: Just like our homes, our wardrobes can reflect the season, too! I've been having fun putting together some festive outfits for my daughter, hoping to inspire others to embrace the spirit of February as well.
Sprinkle Some Love: These adorable sprinkles from Trader Joe's have been a hit in our kitchen! From topping morning pancakes to decorating class cupcakes and cookies, they add a touch of whimsy to everything. Speaking of Trader Joe's, I'm a huge fan of their low SKU approach and commitment to healthier options. Their dedication to avoiding artificial dyes is a perfect example of this.

Rose-Tinted Hydration: To add a little something special to our everyday routine, I've been adding a splash of Cortas Rose Water to our water pitcher. It's a subtle yet delightful touch that elevates even the simplest glass of water.
Sparkling Celebrations: For dinner parties or date nights, I adore these Zwilling Champagne glasses. Filled with organic rose seltzer (another Trader Joe's find!) or even just sparkling water, they add a touch of romance and formality to any table setting.
The Power of a Card: No matter the occasion, a heartfelt card is always a thoughtful gesture. I'm a big fan of Papyrus cards for their beautiful designs and wide selection. You can find them on Amazon or at Whole Foods. And don't forget, Trader Joe's also has a surprisingly great card selection!
Leaning into your Love Language: If you have not read The 5 Love Languages, pick yourself up a copy or listen into the upcoming Episode of this is difficult where we discus our love languages and how to use them to increase your connection to those you love.
These little touches have made a big difference in creating a warm and loving atmosphere in my home this February. What are some of your favorite ways to celebrate the season of love & friendship? Share your ideas in the comments below! 👇
